I booked in Disney wonder, for the mexican riviera on October 15, 2017 my question is: I got pregnant with a due date in august, what are my options? I read that the baby has to be 6 months old to go on the ship.

Welcome aboard, Maria! Huge congratulations on your newest little family member who will be making his or her debut later this year. What wonderful news that is!

I'm sure that this fall you'll be busy with your newest little one, as you experience all sorts of new firsts! You are correct, though, that Disney Cruise Line allows babies beginning at six months of age to sail with them. So, unfortunately the Mexican Riviera sailing you have this fall will have to be changed for a later date when your little one is old enough to join you. I see that you live in California, so you're probably really looking forward to sailing from a port close to home. While the 2018 itineraries for summer and fall have not yet been released, I am pretty sure that they will see the Wonder back in California for some time before or after the summer Alaskan sailings, but we'll have to wait until the itineraries are released to see for sure. Perhaps the following May or August you'll be able to set sail on the Wonder with your little one in tow!

My family and I really enjoyed our Mexican Riviera sailing on the Wonder to Cabo San Lucas, Ensenada and Puerto Vallarta, and I really hope you'll re-book so you can experience this gorgeous sailing too! You may want to give the agents at Disney Cruise Line a call at (800) 951-3532 to discuss changing the sail dates. It shouldn't be a problem, but as I mentioned, you'll probably need to wait until the new itineraries are released hopefully this spring, so you can choose another Baja cruise or California Coast sailing.

In the meantime, soak up those moment with your little one and look forward to introducing him or her to the magic that awaits on the high seas with Captain Mickey and his crew! Congratulations, Maria!
