Hello Mingyi!
Welcome to planDisney! December will be here before we know it, and for you, that means a magical trip! The holidays truly are the most wonderful time of the year, and you’ll find yourself in the holiday spirit with all of the lights, sights, and sounds that surround you at the Walt Disney World Resort.
It sounds like you’ve purchased a vacation package that includes both your room and your resort. If you booked online, typically everything links automagically to your account. If you booked over the phone, you’ll want to visit your My Disney Experience Account to link that confirmation number if you haven’t already. You won’t receive a barcode or anything like that. If you are at all familiar with Disneyland in California, they do use barcodes, but at Walt Disney World things are a bit different.
If you booked over the phone and all you have right now is a confirmation number, go to
My Disney Experience Account and sign in. Then select
“My Plans” and scroll to under the big illustration of the parks to where you see blue circles. Select the circle for resorts and hover over it to open options, and select the “Link Reservation” option. Follow the prompts to link your package!
Once that is complete, or if you booked yourself online, then we want to find your tickets and assign them to each member of your travel party. On that same “My Plans” page, just below the blue circles, you’ll see your resort listed, then you and anyone in your Family & Friends list you’ve scheduled plans with, and under there, you’ll see a heading that says “My Plans, Reservations, and Tickets.” On the far left of the screen, the option for “Daily Itinerary” is the default setting and shows your resort check-in day, with your resort and travel party. Directly to the right of that “Daily Itinerary” option you’ll see in blue
“Tickets & Memory Maker.” Select that option. You should then see your tickets listed, and the option to assign each ticket to your family member!
If you are in the app, select the three horizontal lines in the lower right-hand corner. Then select “Tickets and Passes.” This should open up and you should see all of your tickets listed (no barcodes though) and an option to “Reassign Ticket” to one of your travel party.
The next question may be, how do I use my tickets to enter the parks? You have a few options. You can purchase
MagicBands if you like, and this is my family’s preference. As a Resort Guest, you have the opportunity to pre-purchase MagicBands with a discount through your My Disney Experience Account. This will automatically link each band to the correct Guest and you’ll be set to go. Alternately, you can visit the front desk upon check-in to receive a complimentary Key to the World Card that will serve as your theme park ticket and room key. You can also pick up a ticket card at any ticket window at a theme park, or if you prefer to use your mobile device, you can use the complimentary
Disney MagicMobile service!
I hope this helps you to find your tickets, Mingyi! if you still don’t see them, I recommend you
call and speak with a Cast Member of the phone for one-on-one assistance.
Happy Planning!
