Ahoy, Rebecca! Thanks so much for sailing by planDisney with your question!
I love that you’re planning ahead for your
Bahamian voyage on the
Disney Fantasy next September! That itinerary is a dream, with not one, but two magical stops in paradise:
Disney Castaway Cay and
Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point (my personal favorite).
If you’re staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel the night before your cruise, it’s important to know that you won’t be able to leave your vehicle at the resort while you’re out at sea. Parking at the resorts is limited to registered Guests during their stay, so you’ll want to plan to drive to Port Canaveral the morning of embarkation and park there instead.
The drive from Walt Disney World Resort to the port is relatively simple; it's about one hour on the highway with easy-to-follow signage along the way. Parking at the port is conveniently located right next to the terminal, and while prices are always subject to change, the current rate is $17.00 plus tax per day. That comes out to about $102 for a 5-night cruise, so it's probably the most economical option for you. The best part is no reservations are needed and you just pay when you arrive.
Alternatively,
Disney Cruise Line offers motorcoach transfers between Walt Disney World and Port Canaveral, which are currently $45 per person, each way (again, subject to change). While these transfers haven’t opened for 2026 just yet, I’d expect more details to be released closer to your sail date.
I hope this helps as you chart your course, Rebecca! If you have any other questions, whether it’s about parking, embarkation day tips, or what makes sailing on the Fantasy so special, we’re always here and happy to help.
“Sea” ya real soon!
