    We are booked for Disney Cruise Western Caribbean - Cayman Islands & Cozumel for the end of March. I'm upset to see that there were only 2 beach excursions available and they are already sold out! How else can we get to the beach? Never cruised before!

    Hi Serena,
    Thanks so much for visiting the Moms Panel with your cruise question.  My first suggestion is to continue to check online because Guests do have until three days prior to sailing to cancel their adventures ashore without penalty.  You can also check with the Port Adventure Desk once you are onboard just to see if another beach tour has opened up.  If you don't have any luck, you can venture ashore on your own.  At both piers, you will find plenty of taxis and shuttles ready to whisk you away to a tropical paradise.  In Grand Cayman, I suggest heading to the north end of the Seven Mile Beach where you will find a public beach area.  The ride isn't too long, but be sure to leave plenty of time to get back to the ship because you will have to tender because the vessel anchors off shore in Grand Cayman.  It is about a 10 minute ride over to the boat. 
    In Cozumel, I recommend Paradise Beach which is about five miles from the cruise terminal. 
    Be sure to have some cash with you for your transportation, lounge chairs (about $2.00), water sports, food and drink when you head ashore!
