Welcome back, Javier! Your family is in for so much magic, and it doesn't begin when you first set foot on the ship, it begins right now!
Check out the
My Disney Cruise Adventure booklet that you can download for each of your kids as you plan. There are pages for them to fill out before and during the cruise, but they'll learn so much about what to expect just by flipping through the pages. And then schedule a
Character Call to let Mickey tell your kids how excited he is to cruise with them next year! My kids are around your children's ages and they love when Mickey calls our house to announce our cruises!
Take some time now to browse the exciting Port Adventures that Disney offers, and choose one or two that are right for your family. Let the kids read the descriptions and give their input too. My kids get excited when they feel like they have a hand in the planning! When your window opens for online check-in, 75 days prior to sailing for
first time cruisers, log on that day to book extras like some special Character Greetings that are free but require tickets, and Port Adventures. You won't want to wait long since guests who have sailed with Disney before can book these extras earlier and some popular activities fill up quickly.
Download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App to your mobile devices, which once onboard, shows maps, activity schedules, menus, and a fun texting feature, and for before you sail, a countdown to cruising. My daughter is so excited about our next cruise, she checks this countdown each day to announce to me how many days are left!
Happy planning, Javier!
