I booked a Disney Cruise to celebrate what the end of a long year of surgeries for my daughter. Unfortunately the surgeries did not go as planned and have left her handicapped. She can get around in a walker but also wheelchair. Can cruise accommodate?

    Hi Tracy,
I'm so sorry to hear about your princess, and it breaks my heart the outcome was not as expected.  I hope the magic of a Disney Cruise will aide in the healing process from what has been a very stressful time for your family.  Disney Cruise Line is very accommodating to Guests with Disabilities.  Most areas on the ship are accessible by wheelchair, and special equipment can be reserved for your daughter.  Disney Cruise Line also sets aside special viewing areas for planned onboard activities.  My advice is to call (407) 566-3500 to speak with a Disney Cruise Line representative that specializes in helping Guests with Disabilities.  The representative will fill you in on everything you need to know to make your daughter's experience magical!
Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel, Tracy!  I hope you will let me know if you have any other cruise questions before you set sail.
