We just booked our 2nd Disney Cruise on the amazing Disney Fantasy August 2014! Our room number is 9509, does anyone have experience with this area of staterooms? Last time we were way in the aft part of the ship at 7685. Thanks!

Welcome aboard, Jolene! Isn't it exciting to book your second Disney cruise? You've sailed with Disney before, so you know about so much of the magic that is in store, but each cruise is different and you're sure to have an absolutely amazing experience on your sailing next summer!

While I haven't stayed in that particular Standard Inside Stateroom before, my family has stayed in the forward part of the ship before and it's been great. In all honesty, we are happy to sail on whichever deck, in whichever part of the ship because we've had great experiences no matter where we've stayed onboard. Your stateroom will be not far from the forward elevators, which is handy, and since you're toward the end of the hall, you shouldn't have much hallway noise from other guests walking by.

Of course, since you sailed in stateroom 7685 previously, you probably know that being toward the end of a hallway is a nice quiet spot. Most likely, you'll find a very similar experience in your stateroom this time to what you had on your last sailing. You may feel a bit more motion from the ship in the forward, but it shouldn't be that noticeable at all, especially if you're not one who is prone to motion sickness. And enjoy that Magic Porthole! Isn't it fun?

I hope that helps as you continue to plan, Jolene. Let me know if I can help with other questions over this next year before you set sail!
