Jenny Lind, I appreciate the details you provided about your traveling party, as Disney Cruise Line does offer activities for specified age groups. The
Royal Society for Friendship and Tea is for ages 3-12 and their family members, so it will not be an option for your crew on this sailing.
Palo Trattoria is an adult-only experience for 18+, so if you choose to make a reservation, it will be available for you and your mother at this time. This is something your son can look forward to on a future sailing! If you'd all like to dine at one of the Disney Adventure's specialty restaurants,
Mike & Sulley's Flavors of Asia is a family-friendly Japanese Steakhouse. Like Palo Trattoria, it is reservation-only, so you'll want to secure a reservation when your
booking window opens. This experience will replace your regular
dining rotation one evening and will be offered for an additional fee.
There will be many opportunities to experience Disney Characters on your sailing, Jenny Lind. When your
dining rotation brings you to either Hollywood Spotlight Club or the Navigator's Club, you'll be able to interact with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy (always subject to change) while you eat. You'll also find meet-and-greet offerings listed in your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. You'll be able to favorite all the ones you want to experience once you log in at the cruise terminal or after boarding. The shows onboard will be another way to see your favorites, but I recommend arriving early for a good spot. The Disney Imagination Garden will host
Duffy and The Friend Ship, which I've heard is a hit! The three of you can also go on an exciting hunt around the ship using clues to find Duffy and his friends' lost items. You can purchase the guide for Duffy and Friends Discovery Quest at the
Duffy and Friends Shop. This interactive activity will also help you become even more familiar with the ship's layout.
