I've booked most dinners and evening activities in advance for our Oct./ Nov. visit but now wonder if I have allowed enough time to eat and travel around the park. How long is a typical sit down dinner (i.e. Whispering Canyon, Artist Point) with a DDP?

    Hi Michelle!

I usually plan on each meal taking about an hour. Since I like to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early, I usually recommend using 75 minutes as a guideline. Character meals might be slightly longer - since you don't want to miss any of them!

If you've managed to plan your meals in the same park or at a nearby resort, then they shouldn't take too long from your park touring plans. However, if you're trying to go to resorts which are much further away or travel between parks for just meals, then you may want to make some changes. For example, if you're spending the day at the Magic Kingdom, you may not want to head to Epcot for dinner, and then back to the Magic Kingdom for Wishes! That would be quite a bit of travel just for dinner. However, if you're at the Magic Kingdom for the day and then want to head over to Whispering Canyon via boat and then return to for Wishes, its much more doable.

Hope this helps! Have a great trip!
