Booked dinner at O'Hana, but a bit nervous. Hear wonderful things, but the menu looks sparse and the photos appear as though it is cafeteria style and we may sit with strangers. Booked at 5pm for a night we plan to attend MNSSHP....will my tweens enjoy?

Hi, Megan!  'Ohana is one of the most coveted reservations at Walt Disney World, which should speak volumes about how popularthis restaurant is.  For many guests, it's a must do every vacation.

To quell any concerns, you will not be seated with strangers.  Your family will have their own table within the restaurant.  Although, 'Ohana means family, so once you're inside, you'll find the tables filled with your "cousins".  You, however, will be seated at your own table.

The food here is served family style for the appetizers and meal starters.  Large bowls or plates will be brought to the table, with enough for everyone at the table to enjoy.  Then, servers will come tableside with large skewers of steak, chicken, and shrimp.  You can have as much of any of the items as you want, so it would be really hard to leave hungry.  There is plenty of delicious food to go around.

I am not a bread pudding fan, but I have heard from people who love the stuff that the 'Ohana bread pudding is one of the best they've ever had.  It always looks amazing, but I'm usually too full from the meal to eat any dessert anyway!

My kids have always enjoyed meals at 'Ohana.  Younger children may take part in some of the kids games that take place, but the tweens may not be too interested.  You might even get to see the Wishes fireworks from the Magic Kingdom before you leave for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween party.

Have a great time - both at the restaurant and at the party!
