You clearly have magical planning ideas, Joanne. The only thing more wonderful than
staying at a Disney Resort hotel... is staying at two! It's such a fun way to mix up the magic during your vacation, and get to experience a variety of pixie-dusted theming and atmospheres. Plus it's so convenient to have bell services transfer your luggage, so that you don't lose any valuable park time.
Let's talk about your Disney Dining Plan and how to add those dining entitlements to the
My Disney Experience app. These will be tied to your Disney vacation package reservation. Once you have checked in on your arrival date, those credits will appear in the app under your resort details! To view them, from the app home screen select the "☰" icon in the lower right and scroll to "Hotel Reservations". You'll find all the details of your resort stay, along with a tab that says "Check Dining Plan". This is a great location to check your dining credits balance throughout your stay. Those credits will be valid through midnight on your check out day for that resort.
If you don't see those details in the app, you may need to link your reservation to your My Disney account first. You can do so by visiting the Walt Disney World Resort website, and using the
online linking tool to add your vacation package reservation.
One tip before I go. Did you know you can save time in line by placing a
mobile food order in the app? As my fellow panelist Ashley explains, you can even
redeem your Quick-Service dining plan credits as payment. This allows you to skip the stand by line, and get back to having fun sooner!
