Just booked our DCL Cruise out of Dover England in Sept 2019. We booked the cruise for our daughters birthdays though their birthdays are a few months later. Can we still celebrate on board?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Michelle!

I am glad you cruised by with another great question about your fabulous high seas adventure on the Disney Magic.  What makes me even more excited is that you will be celebrating while onboard!

Without a doubt you can celebrate your daughters' birthdays during your sailing!  We are celebrating my own daughter's birthday onboard the Disney Magic later this month!  There are so many ways to say happy birthday while onboard.

First, be sure to contact Disney Cruise Line and let them know you are celebrating while so they can note this on your reservation.  Once onboard, stop by the Guest Services Desk (Deck 3, Midship) to check to see if they have any "I'm Celebrating" buttons for the girls to wear around the ship.  Then, let the fun begin!

It is always great to celebrate any birthday, or even an un-birthday, with some extra special dessert.  Be sure to let your rotational dining service team know that you have royal birthdays to celebrate on your first night.  They will ask you which night of your sailing you want to recognize the princesses and their special day.  Then watch out for some pixie dust!

For a full royal experience on their birthday cruise, you may want to consider a reservation for a princess makeover at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.  Available for an additional fee, packages range from a simple hair and makeup experience to full costumes.  For an extra special moment, you can consider the Royal Court Royal Tea Party.  Also available for an additional fee, this is one of the things my daughter and I love to do together onboard and we have so many fun memories from our tea parties at sea.

If you want to take the party back to your stateroom, check out the room decorations offered by Disney Cruise Line's In-Room Gifts.  They make for a great surprise when your princesses open their stateroom door for the first time.

Enjoy your magical birthday celebration!  Bon voyage!  Angie
