I just booked a 5 day vacation package at the Port Orleans Riverside! I have a booked one of the new updated rooms with a garden view. What are the room amenities? I am trying to figure out if it has a refrigerator and what Magnolia bend is like.

    Hello April,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question today!  It's so nice to see you here!

Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside is a great choice, and the Magnolia Bend section is absolutely lovely.  It's full of Southern charm, from the gorgeous landscaping to white-column mansions.  This section includes four buildings: Acadian House, Magnolia Terrace, Oak Manor and Parterre Place.  All are located across Sassagoula River from Riverside Mill Food Court.  The Garden View room will offer you a view of one of the lovely garden areas of Magnolia Bend, which I think is an especially relaxing option.

Your room's standard amenities will include a mini-fridge, coffee maker (and supplies), in-room safe, iron, ironing board, flat-screen television, hair dryer, free WiFi, telephone with voicemail and alarm clock.  Housekeeping will also be happy to keep you stocked with basic toiletries, coffee, and any other extra towels, blankets or pillows you might need.

I hope that helps with your planning, April, but please write back if you have any other questions.  We'd love to help!

    Have a magical day,

    Beth
