Hi Zafreen,
Welcome to planDisney! How exciting that your family of 4 will be visiting
Walt Disney World Resort this summer.
Unfortunately,
Standard Theme Park tickets are
non-refundable and nontransferable so you won't be able to cancel one day of your multi-day tickets to receive a refund or partial credit. The
park reservation system will allow you to cancel or modify your reservation for a specific date, but this would not cancel the actual ticket or prompt a refund of the purchase price. At this time, theme park reservations are required in addition to valid admission so be sure to make a reservation for the park you plan to visit each day.
If your
tickets were not purchased as part of a room and ticket vacation package, your 3-day tickets will
expire 5 days from your selected start date, or when you've used up all your daily allotments. This means you'd be able to visit the parks for a day or two and schedule a rest day if you'd like to relax and recharge before using your third ticketed day.
There is so much to enjoy across all the parks you'll be able to fill your days from sun up to sun down and still not be able to get to everything. I'd recommend a full day in
Magic Kingdom Park during your visit. Your travel dates fall after the official opening of
TRON Lightcycle / Run and the much-anticipated return of
Happily Ever After so you'll definitely want to plan on experiencing both in addition to the many other incredible attractions and entertainment options that Magic Kingdom Park offers.
Over at
Disney's Hollywood Studios, be sure to pay a visit to Andy's toys in Toy Story Land and maybe even schedule a dining reservation at
Roundup Rodeo BBQ, a new table service restaurant opening later this month.
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is sure to inspire the animal lover in you and captivate your family with its gorgeous details, live shows, and thrill rides. EPCOT is home to one of my personal favorites,
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind so you may also want to schedule in time to experience this out-of-the-galaxy attraction.
I'd be happy to offer suggestions on how to best spend your three park days, and point you to attractions that might work best for your family's age range. Feel free to
come back and ask me any additional questions.
Wishing you magic and memories,
Amy
