I have booked an 8 day stay at WDW, ASM resort. This is a preferred room- does that mean I get to request which building I want? When/how do I let them know which I prefer? My trip is 66 days away. i have booked a room with accessibility features (Deaf)

Hi Christine! How exciting that your Walt Disney World vacation is just a couple of months away! At the All-Star Movies Resort, rooms in the "preferred" category are located in the buildings closest to Cinema Hall, which houses the front desk, the food court, gift shop and arcade. Booking a preferred room means it will be located in the Toy Story, Fantasia, or 101 Dalmatians building. If you wish to stay in a particular one of those buildings or have other requests, you can note those when you Check In Online up to 60 days prior to your vacation or by contacting the resort by fax or phone a few days before your trip.

It appears from your question that you've already requested the Room Communications Kit for guests with hearing impairments, but you may want to review the Hearing Impaired Services page of the Disney website for lots of helpful information on amenities and accommodations available in the resorts and the parks.

Please don't hesitate to visit us again here at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We'd love to help!
