Ahoy Jeni!
Wow! You must be so excited to explore the amazing scenery of the
Norwegian fjords and the coasts of Iceland and Scotland on your
Disney Magic cruise this summer! It's definitely going to be a trip of a lifetime, so I know you are counting down the days until you leave for this magnificent journey!
I'm sure you have many questions about how this cruise is different from a Caribbean voyage with Disney Cruise Line. First, I'm happy to report the pools and slides will be open on your sailing! Once the outside temperature drops below 75 degrees, the pools and slides are heated! So don't forget the swimsuits! Since you have more nights to enjoy onboard, there will be additional shows, more guest entertainers and different dinner menus to look forward to each day. In the past, Disney Cruise Line has had a Historian aboard to hold talks about the ports of call during the sea days. The talks will be listed in your daily cruise newsletter, the Personal Navigator or on the DCL Navigator app (free for Apple and Android devices) and will be replayed on your stateroom TV. There will not be a pirate night, but last summer they replaced the festivities with a Frozen themed day and deck party!
Also, be sure to stop by the gift shops early for the best selection on the exclusive commemorative Norwegian themed merchandise! I always love the special items Disney Cruise Line creates for these sailings.
Jeni, I know you are going to have the most amazing time on your cruise this summer! It will be hard to get back to the real world after such a magical vacation! Please keep us posted if you think of any additional questions between now and July!
Have a magical day!
