I just booked a 7 day Disney Cruise on The Fantasy traveling to the Caribbean in Oct 2015. Has anyone traveled to the Caribbean in October?? I can not find very much info on the weather averages in October.

Welcome aboard, Serena! Congratulations on booking your cruise on the Disney Fantasy for next fall! You're in for so much magic and excitement when you take to the high seas with Captain Mickey and his crew! My family and I love to sail with Disney in the fall too. In fact, we just returned from a cruise on the Disney Dream in early November and I can tell you from lots of fall cruising experience that it is usually great summer-like weather.

In October, the Caribbean islands can have highs in the mid to upper 80's (sometimes even into the low 90's) and lows in the mid to upper 70's. So, be sure to pack summer-like clothing. But, do bring an extra layer like a jacket or light sweater too. If you head out on deck at night while at sea, it can be breezy and cool. I tend to get a little chilly in the Walt Disney Theatre for the Broadway-style shows and also in the restaurants at times, so I bring my jacket with me just in case.

Have fun planning your cruise, Serena!
