Welcome aboard, Heather! November will certainly be a wonderful time to escape the falling temperatures in New Jersey to head south for a warm weather cruise with Captain Mickey and his crew!
My family and I have visited Nassau many times on our Disney cruises, so I have some suggestions for making it a really fun day. Since you've already been to Atlantis, I say skip that. It is a really beautiful and unique resort, but if you've already experienced that, there are so many other Port Adventures that can give you a new taste of the island.
If your family has ever wanted to swim with dolphins, the Blue Lagoon Dolphin Swim is one I'd highly recommend, as is the
Blue Lagoon Beach Day. That's a gorgeous part of the island, and the beach is even more beautiful than that at Atlantis, so I'd choose that island any day! My family and I have really enjoyed our relaxing days on Blue Lagoon Island. But, it's not just relaxing, there are also plenty of activities to take part in there too, so it's really something for everyone. However, since you'll enjoy the best beach day at Castaway Cay on your cruise, unless you really want two full beach days, I'd try something more local and cultural.
In that case, I highly recommend the
Graycliff Chocolatier Adventure! Let me just tell you, it is tasty and the smells alone are heavenly! I love taking my kids on adventures in ports where we not only get to see the sights but learn something along the way, and take part in the local culture. This is one that everyone will enjoy. On this adventure, you not only get to tour the chocolate factory, but try out the chocolate making yourself, with samples!
Have so much fun planning, Heather!
