Hi, we booked a 3 day bahama cruise for 9/5/13 and also 4 days bahamas cruise 4/23/14. Should we ask for the 10% discount for our second cruise. I know that if I booked the second cruise during my first cruise on the ship, I can get the discount.

Isn't it fun planning two magical voyages onboard Disney Cruise Line? Having an April sailing to look forward to after your September cruise will definitely make disembarking the ship a bit easier!
I wish I had better news for you, but unless you cancel your second sailing, you will not be able to take advantage of the onboard booking benefits on your first voyage. My concern with cancelling a cruise is that the cruise fare may be higher than when you previously booked. You can stop by the Future Cruise Desk to inquire about pricing because it never hurts to ask!
