Ahoy, Emily!
Welcome to planDisney! First of all, I love your spontaneity! I have booked a couple of cruises at the last minute, and there's nothing better than a short countdown to vacation. If you haven't already, download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to see that magical single-digit countdown! This app will also be your go-to guide to all the
ship's happenings and activities once you connect at the cruise terminal.
Emily, with your late booking, you most likely will not receive any cruise mail before your sailing. Once you arrive at the cruise terminal, you'll be able to get luggage tags from the porters. Just have your stateroom number handy, and they will be able to label and attach the tags to your luggage. Although tipping is optional, I like to have a few small bills for the porter who assists my family at the curb. Be sure to keep any medications, important documents, passports, and anything else you may need in your carry-on luggage on the first afternoon, as your luggage may take a few hours to arrive outside your stateroom door.
I am so excited for you to experience
everything Disney Cruise Line has to offer next week, Emily. The beauty of a cruise vacation is that you can be as busy as you'd like to be. If you are looking for something entertaining, be sure to keep up with all the cruise staff has planned each day. There's so much to experience, like trivia, dance parties, Bingo, and learn-to-draw classes. I am also sure you are looking forward to relaxing by the pool or on Deck 4 and being rocked to sleep each night in your stateroom. I hope it's a vacation filled with lots of magic, fun, and relaxation.
Bon Voyage,
Nancy
