Booked a cruise while onboard. Would l I lose the onboard credit & discount if I decided to change to a different cruise?

    Ahoy, Mary Julie!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I've actually had to do this in the past year, so I'll be happy to share my experience with you. You will not lose the onboard credit and discount if you change to a different date unless you choose a date that is blackout by Disney Cruise Line. In recent years, Disney Cruise Line has chosen a few dates around peak times (many times holiday sailings) to not allow credits or discounts to apply. Fortunately, I was able to move my cruise to a non-blackout cruise and did not owe any additional money because the deposit due was the same as the original cruise booked. Also, cruises booked onboard need to be taken within 24 months of the original booking date. My best advice is to call Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532 to speak with a cruise representative about your possible dates for your future cruise.
Good luck with your plans, Mary Julie! Thank you for continuing to use the Disney Parks Moms Panel for all your cruise questions!
    Have a magical day!
