We are booked for a cruise in June 2025. We also booked a WDW stay the week before leading up to embarkation day, is there a way to link my reservations and utilize the transport from the resort to the ship?

Ahoy, Bethany! Welcome back to planDisney. Planning a vacation at Walt Disney World and aboard Disney Cruise Line? I like your style!

A week at Walt Disney World Resort is absolutely magical. It's also a lot easier to leave when you see the Mickey Mouse signs saying "See 'ya real soon!" and can respond, "Yes! Yes, you will."

Using Disney Transportation to get from your Disney Resorts Collection hotel to Port Canaveral keeps you in that glorious "Disney Bubble" as your vacation moves from the theme parks to the sea. With a simple phone call, you can add ground transfers to your Disney Cruise Line reservation. It's a great option that lets you know everything is taken care of to get you from the Most Magical Place on Earth to the most magical ship on the ocean. Boarding day will be a breeze!

With ground transfers, you will get details from your Walt Disney World Resort about when and where to meet your bus. On the morning of your cruise, attach the Disney Cruise Line luggage tags to the bags you want to check. At the bus, Cast Members will help take your bags, and you do not have to think about them again until they show up outside your stateroom door. Be sure to plan for your carry-on bags, especially your required travel documentation to check in at the port. Board the bus and be carried away to the port.

Disney Transportation adds another layer of ease: you do not have to stay up until midnight on the night your pre-arrival online check-in opens to get an early Port Arrival Time. Your Port Arrival Time is based on your transportation to the port. You still need to complete the pre-arrival check-in, but you can wait until a time of day that works for you.

With all the adventure on the horizon, you may want to mark your calendar to ensure you have all the dates noted.

With the My Disney Experience App and the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App, you have two countdown clocks! When both countdowns are Disney-related, the amount of fun is exponential!

Please come back to planDisney with any questions as you continue to plan this epic adventure!
