Welcome aboard, Myeesha! You are in for the trip of a lifetime with your boys! They are at such great ages to experience so much adventure on your sailing!
My family has sailed the Western Caribbean with Disney Cruise Line quite a few times, so I have some great Port Adventure recommendations for you. Grand Cayman is one of my favorite spots, and has a few of my favorite Port Adventures.
Boatswain's Beach Adventure Marine Park is one of a kind. There, you get to see the most amazing sea turtles of all sizes - some of these are huge! Guests are even allowed to hold some of the baby sea turtles. My son was five when we experienced this adventure and even now, at eight, he still talks about his day with the turtles there. And we have the most amazing photos from that experience! There are other animals to see and paths to explore at the park as well. The drive also makes a nice mini-tour of Grand Cayman on the way to and from.
Secondly, if your little guy is up for real adventure, my kids loved the
Adventure to Stingray City Sandbar. Even if your son isn't up for snorkeling, like my kids weren't at that age, just being able to get into the water, as the guides allow them to pet the stingrays that swim right up, is truly incredible! My kids later purchased stuffed stingrays in town before we took the tender boats back to our Disney ship, and still have those on their beds as memories.
Finally, if you're up for a less hands-on experience, in both Grand Cayman and Cozumel, there are submarine or semi-sub adventures that are relaxing and give you beautiful views of the world below the waves among the reefs! See if you can spot Nemo and Dory!
Please stop back with more questions as you continue to plan, Myeesha!
