We booked our 1st cruise on the Disney Dream.I was wondering which dining arrangement, first or second seating is better? We will be traveling with our 10 & 13 year old daughters. We are used to eating late, but don't want them to miss anything.

    Ahoy, Rebecca!
I'm thrilled to hear you have taken the plunge and booked a vacation on the spectacular Disney Dream! You have so much to look forward to on this enchanted journey with Captain Mickey. Dining is one of my favorite topics because of the exclusive rotational dining experience onboard. Each night, you and your amazing dining team will visit a new venue with a story to tell through every unique detail. Enchanted Garden places you in the middle of a garden of Versailles with a gorgeous cascading fountain in the center of room. Royal Palace will make you and your girls feel like true Disney Princesses with royal touches from the chandelier to the breadbaskets! My favorite, Animator's Palate, is a one-of-a-kind meal that you won't want to miss! This dining experience encompasses the true magic of Disney.  My children are similar in ages to yours, and we prefer second seating. It gives us a bit more time in the afternoon to enjoy the ship, and we enjoy seeing the show before dinner. If my kids want to head to the youth clubs, we just ask the servers to expedite their dinners, which they are always happy to do. Character Greetings, shows in the lounges, and the Broadway-style productions are scheduled in between the dinners, so you don't have to worry about missing much.
Thank you for stopping by with your question, Rebecca.
    Have a magical day!
