Ahoy, Erin!
October is one of my favorite times to cast off on a high sea adventure with my favorite Disney pals! A couple of years ago we sailed on the
Disney Dream around the exact same time and the cherry on top was that it was a Halloween on the High Seas cruise! I loved all the special events and festive decor that filled the Grand Lobby Atrium! It was simply spooktacular!
The other perk to sailing in the fall is the weather is still warm, but not quite as hot as the summer months. Highs in the
Bahamas are in the mid 80s with lows in the mid 70s. I always suggest checking the forecast either online or on a weather app within a few days prior to your departure, so you can pack accordingly. The
packing list on the Disney Cruise Line website is a great resource as you prepare. The temperature in the indoor spaces can be chilly, so I always recommend bringing a light sweater or a jacket.
Erin, I'm so glad you cruised by with your question about your Bahamian voyage this fall. We are always here to help so please keep us in mind if you think of anything else.
Have a "Dream"y day!
Nancy
