We booked a 4-couple cruise with 4 separate staterooms (Dream-March '21; 1 couple=silver, 3=1st time). Trying to decide whether to link reservations, or just dinner seatings. What are the pros and cons of linking reservations vs dinner seatings only?

    Ahoy, Megan!

Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  Shiver me timbers!   It sounds like you have assembled quite the pirate crew to set sail with Captain Mickey next year.  I am excited for ye landlubbers to find all the treasures awaiting them onboard!

To help your first-time sailors get their sea legs, I would recommend you link all of your reservations together.  This will ensure you are seated together or near each other in the rotational dining rooms and help you coordinate all of your plans throughout your high seas adventure.  When all your pirates' advance booking windows are open, you will be able to select everyone at once to make reservations for Port Adventures, onboard activities and dining.  This is the benefit of linking your reservations prior to setting sail.

If you are planning a mutiny or would prefer to keep your plans private during your cruise, your entire crew would be able to see your plans if they are linked, so that may be the only "con" of sailing in that direction.  Even without linking your reservations, you can still use the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App to keep connected.  You can also contact Disney Cruise Line to coordinate your seating during dinner and for help finding adjoining staterooms.  If you do have connecting staterooms with verandahs, you may even be able to have the partitions on your verandah removed for extra outdoor space for your entire crew!

Raise the Jolly Roger and set your sails back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any additional questions, Megan.  We are happy to steer you in the right direction!

    "Sea" ya real soon!  Angie
