Hi Maryellen and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m so excited to know that you will be dining with Disney royalty at
Cinderella’s Royal Table this coming October! Thanks for sending us your question.
It sounds like a great plan to me! The credit card charge is really meant to just reserve your table. You can absolutely ask your server to charge your
Disney Gift Card for your meal and refund your credit card.
It works the same way for groups who have a
Disney Dining Plan. Your credit card is charged, but the charge is refunded when you let your server know that you will be using Disney Dining Plan credits to cover the cost of your meal.
Maryellen, if you’re staying at the Magic Kingdom Park to enjoy some time at
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, you’re in for a real treat! There’s a brand-new fireworks spectacular for this year! Before your vacation, I encourage you to visit the
Disney Parks Blog to read up on this fun new show.
I hope this information is helpful to you. Remember that you can always come back to see us if you have any more planning questions.
Veronica
