I have just booked a character breakfast at Cape May Cafe, I was sent an email with a ref number but I did not have to give any card details or anything. It say's if you dont turn up a fee will be deducted from card? How genuine is this ?

Hi Sara! The Cape May Cafe breakfast is a great, relaxing way to meet the characters -- good choice! A few restaurants, such as Cinderella's Royal Table or the California Grill, require a credit card guarantee when making a reservation and do charge a fee if you fail to show up. However, the majority of the restaurants at Walt Disney World, including the Cape May Cafe, do not require you to give a credit card upon making a reservation, and thus, won't charge you a fee if you fail to appear. Of course, if your plans change and you aren't going to use your dining reservation at a particular restaurant, it's always nice to call and cancel your reservation so someone else can dine there.

Have a great time at the Cape May Cafe!
