    Just booked Caribean Beach Resort Feb 15-22. Travelling with kids aged 12 and 7. Concerned by reviews about it being too large n inconvenient to get around. Would one ever need a bus to get from room to food court?

    Caribbean Beach Resort is a large, sprawling resort, but that is part of the charm of this particular Walt Disney World resort.  The landscaping is lush and beautiful, and the fact that things are spread out makes for a very tranquil feeling around the resort. 

    There is nothing anywhere at the resort that should take longer than about a 15 minute walk from any room.  If you are concerned about having to go too far for the food court or Old Port Royale, you could consider booking a preferred room, which are closer to Center Towne.  I do think, however, that for most people, unless there are mobility issues, the walk from place to place is not too terrible.

    Another thing to consider is that while there is a wonderful pool area at Old Port Royale, there are 9 pools at Caribbean Beach!  No matter what area your room is located, there will be a swimming pool just a short walk away!
