We booked the Caribbean but I am concerned after reading reviews with lengthy bus stops and not a big food variety. Is this true? We have stayed at the French Quarter but changed it up this year due to the dining promo. Would riverside be a better choice?

Hello there, Renee! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for sending in another Disney Resort hotel question!

Both Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and Disney’s Port Orleans - Riverside Resort are considered Moderate Disney Resort hotels. Basically, Disney Resort hotels within this category seek to offer sophisticated theming while remaining slightly more budget-friendly than the Deluxe category. For my family, the Moderate category has historically suited our personal needs the best and made our Walt Disney World Resort vacations nothing short of magical!

Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and Disney’s Port Orleans - Riverside Resort are both fairly large resorts that offer a wide variety of Guest rooms. Due to their large size, both resorts provide internal bus service for Guests seeking to move across the resort. Both resorts also offer quite a few dining options for Guests to enjoy. For Quick Service dining, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort has Centertown Market and Spyglass Grill while Disney’s Port Orleans - Riverside has Riverside Mill Food Court. For Table Service dining, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort possesses the recently opened Sebastian’s Bistro while Disney’s Port Orleans - Riverside possesses the long-time favorite Boatwright’s Dining Hall. Both resorts also provide resort-wide pizza delivery as well as multiple lounges that offer drink and appetizer service.

I know this is a tough choice but hopefully this response has provided some helpful information to assist you in planning!
