    We booked all buffets. I have a 2 year old who wont be able to be included in the dining plan. I was under the assumption that at buffets, the 2 year olds can get a plate free. Is this not the case?

    Hello Nina!

    Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  It's always a pleasure to help out a fellow Guest, especially with a question about my favorite Disney topic, FOOD!   I love all the delicious menu offerings at Walt Disney World and hope you will as well.  Be sure to check out The Crystal Palace.  Your Hundred-Acre Woods favorites are always bouncing in this buffet to greet Guests.  It's a Tigger-ific place to enjoy a meal. 

    Any child under the age of 3 would be considered a Guest of Mickey Mouse and would not have to pay for a park ticket, or a Disney Dining Plan.   At Disney Dining locations your child will be able to share a meal off an adult plate.  At buffets you will be able to feed your little one from your plate.  What I would do when my mouseketeers were little was to simply fill my plate with food items I knew they would enjoy and grab an extra empty plate from the buffet.  When we would sit down I would just place some of their favorites on this plate and let them eat.   I am pretty sure if you just made them a small plate from the buffet it wouldn't be a problem either.
