Booked 9 am breakfast at the Castle for May 28. Originally, the WDW agent said we could get in before the Park opens. WDW changed the Park opening to 8am. How early before your reservation will they let you in. We wanted pictures without the crowds.

    Hi Charles,

When you have an Advance Dining Reservation (ADR) which is before or at park opening, you are allowed a 15 minute walk time. This means you will be allowed into the park 15 minutes prior to your ADR so that you can walk and check into your restaurant.

Because the time of Magic Kingdom opening now is prior to your ADR, you will be allowed in at the opening time of 8:00 am because you do not need the walk time prior to opening any more.

If it was any other reservation, I would tell you to adjust your dining if it is important to have pictures without crowds. However, ADR changes at Cinderella's Royal Table are impossible to make and I think the crowds will be light at this time.

If you would like an alternative, book the latest dinner in one of the park's restaurant and you may have an empty park at night to photograph. My mother-in-law taught me this trick.

    Have a magical vacation!
