Hi, we are booked for a birthday stay at Disney All Star Resort in Aug. for my Grand-Princess’s birthday. We weren’t able to book at Disney’s Art of Animation but was wondering since it’s next door if we could take her over to see and take photos.

    Hi there, Lanitra!

Thanks for being a part of our world at planDisney and bringing your question our way!

I am thrilled you're going to be celebrating your grand-princess's birthday! Spending time together at Walt Disney World Resort together is as magical as it gets. Whether you're staying at Disney's All-Star Sports Resort, Disney's All-Star Music Resort, or Disney's All-Star Movies Resort, you will surely have an enchanting time! Make sure to stop by the front desk at your resort to grab a complimentary birthday button for your grand-Mouseketeer and some "I'm Celebrating" buttons for your party. These let the friendly Cast Members know you're celebrating, and you'll love seeing Cast Members and Guests wish your grand-princess a happy birthday!

Lanitra, you're welcome to explore Disney's Art of Animation Resort with your grand-princess and take all the pictures to commemorate this special occasion. However, because parking without reservations can be limited, I suggest you take the complimentary Resort transportation to the Resort hotel. For instance, if you're visiting EPCOT or Disney's Hollywood Studios, you're welcome to take the Disney Skyliner to Disney's Art of Animation Resort. If you're at Magic Kingdom Park, Disney's Animal Kingdom Park, or Disney Springs, you can take the Walt Disney World Bus service to the Resort hotel.

Disney's Art of Animation Resort truly has some of the most magical theming, and I completely understand why you'd like for it to be the backdrop of your princess's pictures, especially if she's a fan of The Little Mermaid, Finding Nemo, Cars, and The Lion King movies. Once you arrive, I recommend asking a Cast Member at the front desk for a map of the Resort hotel. This way, you can have an idea of the areas you'd like to head to for your pictures.

Please wish your grand-princess a very happy birthday from us at planDisney, and have an enchanting visit, Lanitra!
