Hi there, Carolyn and Robert! Thank you for taking the time to send in your question to planDisney. While any day at Disneyland Resort is fantastic, celebrating a birthday there makes your special day even more magical!
One way to sweeten your festivities is to order a
Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake. Guests can now conveniently pre-order these cakes for delivery to select table-service restaurants through the Disneyland website or the
Disneyland Mobile app when making dining reservations. Try pulling up your confirmed reservation in your app under 'Future Plans.' When you click on the reservation, you should see the cake listed underneath the heading 'Confirmed Add-On.' Alternatively, you can also check your email inbox. Search for 'Disneyland Dining,' and you'll find the confirmation of your dining reservation; if you included cakes, they would be listed as add-ons.
The only way to change the location of the cake delivery is to cancel your current dining reservations and rebook at a different restaurant (however, I would wait to cancel until you have secured the new ones). This will cancel your cakes at the same time. If your new reservations are at the same time as the original ones, you may want to book them using a different Disneyland.com website account, as the system will think it is a duplicate request. I hope this makes sense...if you need any clarification, feel free to write us back!
Be sure to pick up a
complimentary Happy Birthday button while you are visiting for the birthday Guest, and get an 'I'm Celebrating' button for everyone else. Wearing one gets you extra special attention from other Guests and Cast Members alike. You can pick one up at Town Hall at Disneyland Park or Guest Services at Disney California Adventure Park.
Have fun blowing out those candles, and we'll see ya real soon!
