Three Generations Aboard Ship; fireworks; night

    I am booked on an April 2013 cruise and I plan to book my next cruise. I am planning to spend Nov. 8-12, 2014 in WDW and Nov. 13th- 17th 2014 on the Disney cruise Line. Will I experience a little xmas at WDW, DCL, and Castaway Cay? Thanks

    With those specific dates, I think you have a pretty good chance of seeing some if not all of the Christmas decorations going up both in the parks and on the ship. The ships have been known to begin decorating as early as November 11th, though it could be as late as November 25th, as dates are always subject to change. Your sail dates of November 13th to 17th could be the first week the decorations are up, or unfortunately, that could be the week just before they go up. There's no way to tell just yet.

    The parks, however, tend to decorate earlier than the ships, so by the second week in November, you'll certainly be seeing some fabulous Christmas decorations around the parks. Be sure to purchase the additional ticket to go to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom if it has started by then. With decorations everywhere, a special parade, hot chocolate and cookie stations throughout the park and the Holiday Wishes fireworks, it's not to be missed! 

    Christmas with Disney is such a magical time, on the ships and the parks, so you'll certainly be making fabulous memories with your family!
