Hi moms. I've booked most of my adrs for approx 7.00pm to give us days in the park and time to go back to AKL to freshen up for the evening. Is this a good time and how much time should I leave to travel back and forth without rushing? Thank you.

    Hi Emma!

You have an excellent plan, I do the same thing! I make my Advanced Dining Reservations for about 7:00 p.m., which is later than we typically eat dinner, so I have more time to get to the dining reservation.

Please keep in mind that it can take a bit of time to get from park to park and from park to resort at Walt Disney World. Since you are staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge, I can give you approximate times to the different parks.

    Magic Kingdom: 8:15
    Epcot: 6:15
    Animal Kingdom: 2:15
    Hollywood Studios: 6:00

All of these times are drive times, which will vary greatly depending upon the traffic and crowd levels. Also, keep in mind that this is from parking lot to parking lot and doesn't include the time it takes to get from the parking lot to the front gate and then to walk to your restaurant.

Please allow at least an hour in between leaving your resort and your ADR.

    Magically,
    Stacy
