When I booked my ADR for CRT was my cc charged or did it just hold my reservation? Will I be able to use my DDP for it? Or would it be better to use my 2 TS credits for additional reservations? Thanks!

Hi, Jennifer!  How awesome that you were able to get into one of the most sought after character meals in all of Walt Disney World!

A full payment is required when you make your reservation at Cinderella's Royal Table.  When you check in with your dining plan, the payment will be refunded to your credit card and then your dining credits will be used.

I've always preferred to pay out of pocket for the signature dining experiences that require two table service credits, but that really depends on how you intend to use your credits.  If you haven't booked table service meals for every day and may end up with extra credits at the end of the trip, then it's obviously better to use the credits.  I prefer making sure my whole vacation is covered, and if I end up with one or two extra table service credits because I've paid for a signature meal, we'll do a nice sit down breakfast somewhere or add an extra lunch in to our plans.  I always look at it as a buy one, get two deal - if I pay for Cinderella's Royal Table, I can use those two credits for two meals somewhere else.

I hope that helps while you're planning!
