Ho, ho, ho, Charlotte!
I’m so glad you brought your question to us here at planDisney. How exciting to be planning a jolly holiday vacation at
Walt Disney World Resort! Christmas is one of the most wonderful times of the year to visit for sure.
Charlotte, when I check the Walt Disney World website and select the calendar icon on the Build Your Vacation option (near the top of the page), I see that initially, the January 2024 calendar does not appear to be available. However, when you select December 25 as the start date of your vacation, the January calendar populates through January 25. So, I encourage you to try again and select the December start date you desire and then you should be able to select an ending date in January. Hopefully, with this little tip, you will wrap up your reservation for a magical holiday vacation!
Now, I do see that the
Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort page asks you to check back later for details regarding the specific offerings that will be available in 2023. In the meantime, Charlotte, I can tell you that Christmas magic is in the air and everywhere, including every Disney Resort Hotel, all four theme parks, and Disney Springs. Two of my must-dos are
EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays –
Candlelight Processional with an amazing narrated and musical telling of the Christmas story. And you won’t want to miss Magic Kingdom’s special ticketed event,
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party which is filled with all sorts of holiday cheer. So, keep an eye out on the Walt Disney World website and the
Disney Parks Blog since they will be the first to share yuletide updates.
Charlotte, you’ll be seeing snow on Main Street, U.S.A before you know it! While you are planning your holiday adventure, I hope you will come back by and
allow me to assist you with any questions you may have!
Wishing you many merry and magical memories,
Shannon
