I want to book Wild Africa Trek. How soon in advance can I make reservations and at what time of day do reservations open. It looks like it sells out fast.

Jambo, Eric, and welcome to planDisney! You'll be arriving at Walt Disney World Resort soon, so I hope you have your safari gear packed. Let's look at some Enchanting Extras that will make your trip even wilder!

The Wild Africa Trek at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park can be booked 60 days in advance. Guests staying at Disney Resort Hotels can book experiences for the length of their stay when their window opens, so that's one reason this popular tour fills up so quickly.

You can book this experience online, and I find it helpful to choose a date range to see any availability during a visit. It looks like you're already within your reservation window, so my tip is to check the dates as soon as possible. I just did a quick test and saw spots open on February 25 and 26, so I hope one of those will work for you.

If you can't find a time that works, you can try other tours at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. I had a blast on the Caring for Giants Tour where I got a glimpse backstage and saw the elephants having their lunch. I even heard there's a new baby elephant to see now! I also enjoyed the Up Close with Rhinos experience because we really did get up close. I was even lucky enough to touch one! You can check availability for these tours online now, as well.

Eric, I hope you can glimpse some savage and cuddly critters on your upcoming visit. Please stop by planDisney anytime!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
