We want to book our 2nd WDW vacation from 4/17-26, with 6 park days, a Disney hotel, and a dining plan. Is that a bad time of year to visit for crowds, temps, etc.? Which deluxe resorts are best for easy access to the parks and Disney Springs? Concerns?

    Hi Nick,

It's wonderful that you enjoyed your first Walt Disney World vacation so much that you want to book another one.  Easter falls in March next year so mid to late April would be a perfect time of year to visit since you'll be missing the spring break crowds. You will also get to celebrate the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival which runs from March 2, 2016 to May 15, 2016.  The weather will be warm, with highs in the 80's and lows in the 50's in the evenings.

There are several deluxe resorts in close proximity to the parks, depending on which park you'll be spending the most time in.  For super easy access to the Magic Kingdom via the monorail, there is Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Polynesian Resort and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. I've stayed in each of them and you won't be disappointed whichever one you choose.

For easy access to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios, you may choose from Disney's Boardwalk Resort or Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resort.  Both of these are on my list of favorites because you can walk to either of the theme parks.  If you're tired after a long day, there is also boat service from these resorts to Epcot and Hollywood Studios.

Disney's Saratoga Springs is the only resort near Disney Springs.  Depending on where your room is located, it's a quick walk, or else a short bus ride.  This resort is great if you're looking for room for a larger family as it is part of the Disney Vacation Club collection.
