I would like to book a Verandah Stateroom on a 7-day cruise on the Disney Wonder. Up to when can I modify or cancel my booking without incurring any cancellation or booking modification fees and charges?

    Hi Nina,

Welcome aboard planDisney! Thanks for sailing by with your question. A Verandah Stateroom for a 7-Night cruise aboard Disney Wonder sounds truly magical!

Modifying your cruise is easy on the Disney Cruise Line website. Log in to your My Reservations and select “Modify Reservation.” From the Modify Reservation page, you can change your sail date, edit your travel party, modify your stateroom or cancel your reservation. You may modify your cruise until the final payment due date 120 days before the cruise.

Now, I hope you don't need to cancel your cruise, but if you do I have some information to share regarding canceling a non-suite/non-concierge category stateroom. Generally, for cruises of 6 Nights or More - Non-Suites/Non-Concierge Categories the cancellation fees are:

    • 119-56 days = Deposit per Guest
    • 55-30 days =  50% of voyage fare per Guest
    • 29-15 days = 75% of voyage fare per Guest
    • 14 days or less = 100% of voyage fare per Guest
Nina, there are exceptions to keep in mind. If you booked a Guaranteed Verandah Stateroom with Restrictions (VGT) payment in full is required and these bookings are considered non-refundable, so a 100% cancellation fee applies from the time of payment. Also, if your reservation has been paid in full or made with a Future Cruise Credit you must call the Disney Cruise Line Contact Center to modify or cancel. Of course, they can also assist you with any modification or cancellation questions you may have.

To review the specific policy for countries outside the US, check the Disney Cruise Line website.
    1. Go to www.disneycruise.com
    2. Scroll to the bottom of the page
    3. Select ‘Booking Terms and Conditions’ under the ‘Help’ heading
    4. Select your ‘country’
    5. Scroll down to: ‘CRUISE CANCELLATION FEES’
    6. Choose the cancellation information that matches your cruise itinerary.

I know that is a lot of information, Nina, but I hope it is helpful to you. My fingers are crossed that you are sailing next year because you will love Disney Wonder. Tiana's Place, one of the Rotational Dining restaurants, is one of my favorite dining locations. The lively entertainment and the delectable dishes make for a celebratory evening you won't forget!

Please let us know if you have other questions, Nina; we love to help our fellow Guests!

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Shannon
