    If I were to book a Vacation package with tickets and dining plans and a member of the group was unable to make it, what are my options? Would any refunds be available? Would those extra tickets/meals be able to be used by other members in the group?

    Hey Samantha! It looks like you and I have something in common. I am originally from Maine, A-yuh!

    So I checked with the Cast Members at Walt Disney World so I could give you the most up-to-date information. If you were to book a vacation package with tickets and dining plans and a member of the group was unable to make it, in certain cases, you can modify an existing reservation online if it is linked to your online My Disney Experience account. To check eligibility, please visit the My Reservation page and look for the link "Modify Reservation" under the confirmation number. If you do not see the "Modify Reservation" button, you can call for Cast Member assistance, at 407-827-7370. Once you make that modification for the one person not coming with you on your vacation a refund for the room would then be applied.

    When it comes to the extra Magic Your Way ticket, unfortunately this ticket is non-refundable. However, this extra ticket can be transferred to one other member of your traveling party as long as it has not been used. if the ticket has been used it is non-transferrable. For the dining plan, once you cancel that person's reservation the dining plan is cancelled for them as well so there would not be any extra dining credits.
