Welcome to planDisney, Amy!
There’s something special about having a
Disneyland Resort vacation in the works. Knowing that magic is on the horizon makes the everyday feel a little lighter, doesn’t it? And early spring is a wonderful time to visit!
Vacation packages and
hotel rates for 2026 will likely be released around August 2025. While a specific date hasn’t been announced yet, this timeline can shift, so I recommend keeping a close eye on the
Disney Parks Blog. It’s the go-to source for announcements about vacation packages, holiday offerings, and other magical extras.
Theme park tickets and reservations can typically be made up to 180 days in advance, though that window can change. Since you're planning for March 2026, it’s a good idea to begin checking for availability around September. The
Theme Park Tickets page on the Disneyland website is the best place to find the latest updates. Booking early not only gives you peace of mind, it also sets you up to enjoy the fresh blooms around the Partners Statue and the vibrant energy of springtime at the resort.
And there’s even more magic in store: Disneyland’s 70th anniversary celebration will still be going strong! I recently had the chance to experience the kickoff on May 16, and the entire resort is positively brimming with happiness. Watching Paint the Night return, with my whole family singing along to “When Can We Do This Again?” was nothing short of unforgettable. Plus, the Tapestry of Happiness projections show on the “it’s a small world” façade adds a whimsical, celebratory touch that’s quickly become one of my favorite additions. And don’t miss the return of the Wondrous Journeys fireworks spectacular. It’s once again lighting up the sky with laughter and joy.
As you plan your park days, I highly recommend looking into the
Lightning Lane Multi Pass. This helpful tool lets you reserve return times for select attractions. It’s perfect for knocking out those must-dos without spending extra time in standby queues. You can purchase a Multi Pass in advance or on the day of your visit. Once you’ve entered the park, simply open the Disneyland app to start reserving!
I hope this helps you spring into action as you plan your 2026 Disneyland adventure, Amy! If you have more questions or want help fine-tuning your itinerary, we’d love to welcome you back to planDisney.
Wishing you a visit full of happiness and unforgettable moments,
David
