    I would like to book a vacation for my daughter and grandchildren. I am a Florida resident, can I book the package as a Florida resident?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Helena! Thanks for visiting us with your question about booking a vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort!

    I think it’s so thoughtful that you are wanting to book a vacation for your daughter and grandchildren! While you are able to book a Disney Resort hotel room for yourself and have them as your guests, your daughter would not be able to stay using a Florida Resident discount on her own. Adults are required to show Proof of Florida Residency when booking a Disney Resort hotel room, while using a Special Offer for Florida Residents. 

    Helena, you are however, able to purchase Florida Resident theme park tickets for grandchildren who are under the age of 18, using your Florida Resident status.

    Another good option for a gift would be a Disney Gift Card. This magical currency can be used towards Disney Resort hotel stays, merchandise, theme park tickets and at Disney restaurants all over the resort!
