How do I book a two night stay at French Quarter with a dining plan, but no park tickets. The online WDW system lets me book the room, ut there is no mention of the dining plan, thanks

    Hello Keith!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! The Disney Dining Plan is a great way to prepay for your meals and snacks while visiting the Walt Disney World Resort. For my family, part of the fun of a Disney Vacation is planning our meals, as well as spending time together as a family around the table. There are three plans to choose from, so you can select the one that best suits your party’s needs!

Currently, the Disney Dining Plan is only available to be added to Vacation Packages which include both stay at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel and theme park tickets. Since you are not purchasing tickets, the system is not offering you the Disney Dining Plan. There are only three exceptions to the ticket requirement. Only Disney Vacation Club Members, Walt Disney World Annual Passholders, and some U.S. Military packages can book the Disney Dining Plan without purchasing theme park tickets. If you fall into one of these categories, you should be able to book this over the phone.

I hope this helps explain your issue, Keith. If you do decide to add theme park tickets to your stay at Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter, you should then also be able to add the Disney Dining Plan. I highly recommend using a snack credit to try the Mickey shaped beignets at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort, they are amazing!

    Happy Dining!
