Can I book my trip with $200 and then pay the rest?

¡Hola Adriana! Bienvenida a planDisney, and thank you for your question!

We are so excited you plan on visiting Walt Disney World Resort very soon, you are in for a most magical visit. The good news is that whether you booked your reservation at a Disney Resorts Hotel as a package or room only, you only need $200 as your deposit. However, resort vacation packages and room-only reservations vary as far as when the full amount is required. For reservations that include theme park tickets in a package, you will need to have your full amount paid in full 30 days before your arrival date. For room-only reservations (no theme park tickets included), you will need to have your final balance paid off the day of check-in. Between the time you make your reservations to your arrival, you can make monthly payments towards your final balance, just make sure everything is paid off at the due date. You can make your payments over the phone, or online through your My Disney Experience account.

Adriana, I hope this information helps you begin planning your magical vacation to Walt Disney World! Once you make your reservations, make sure to set reminder at the 60 day mark on your calendar for your advanced dining reservations! If you want to dine at popular restaurants like Be Our Guest Restaurant, Garden Grill Restaurant, or Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' (three of my favorites!) you will want to make those reservations ahead of time! ¡Saludos!
