If i book a trip for May for my sons 3rd birthday and he is 2 when the trip starts and turns 3 a day or 2 into the trip would i put he is 2 or 3 when i am asked the ages of my children for booking ?

Hi, Shannon! You're going to love this answer! Guests should book packages and/or purchase tickets based on age at the start of their travel window, which, for your son, is two years old. You will list him as two on your reservation. At Walt Disney World Resort, Guests under the age of three are admitted free of charge to all four theme parks and the two water parks. So, that means that he will not need an admission ticket this year. He won't have to have a ticket until his next trip! Your two-year-old does not have to purchase meals either. Guests under the age of three may share from an adult plate at no charge at all meals. When you make your reservations, you should include your son in the total, though.  Even though he can share your meal at no cost, he must be counted in the number of people dining.  Walt Disney World uses this number when figuring restaurant capacity in order to comply with the fire marshal's maximum occupancy, and children count in that number. Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
