    Do I have to book a ticket in advance? My step son is preforming at magic Kingdom Dec 30 and it shows no tickets available. It’s not something I want to miss.

    Hi, and a warm welcome to planDisney! I’m excited to hear that your stepson will be performing at Magic Kingdom next week. What an amazing experience! So I’d be happy to help explore your options for getting a ticket to see him in action.

    I usually recommend purchasing tickets for popular dates as soon as your plans are finalized. It’s not uncommon for them to sell out around the holidays or Spring Break. I checked the Disney World website, and currently, tickets for Magic Kingdom aren’t available for December 30th. Cinderella Castle is the place to be that day since the special Fantasy In The Sky Fireworks will be happening on December 30th and 31st for New Year’s!

    However, I spoke to a Cast Member who suggested that you keep checking availability by looking at the Disney World website or calling the Tickets and Hotel Reservations phone number. Sometimes tickets may become available again as other guests change their plans.

    I’m wishing on a star that you can snag a ticket for December 30th at Magic Kingdom! And if you do, don’t miss Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade that runs twice that day. For much of November and December, this parade only happens during the specially-ticketed Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. So this is a great opportunity to see the parade as part of your regular park ticket.
