Hi. When can I book a stay for October 2026? Thank you very much. Cindy

    Hello there Cindy!

Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for stopping by with your question today. There's nothing better than a magical Disney vacation countdown, in my opinion. And I know that I'm right!! I love where your head is at, so let's talk about when you can make a 2026 reservation to enjoy the Most Magical Place on Earth!

As of today, next year's travel packages for 2026 at Walt Disney World have not yet been released. However... it could be any day now! Historically, the next year's availability is released around February to June. My best tip is to watch the Disney Parks Blog for any updates, as you'll hear it there first!

Did you know that if you reserve both a Disney Resort Hotel and theme park tickets it's considered a travel package, and only requires a $200 deposit? (Prices subject to change.) I love doing this and officially securing my family's Disney countdown. Be sure to download the My Disney Experience app, as it's the practically perfect place to keep track of all the magical details of your trip, as they come together... like dining reservations, any Lightning Lane Passes you secure, and more. I also love checking under "My Resort" to watch my customized countdown!

One last tip before I go. Even after you've reserved your Disney World vacation, I always tell my friends to keep an eye on the Special Offers & Deals page. Disney occasionally shares some awesome deals here, and if one pops up that suits your travel plans... you can easily switch your existing reservation over to the special offer and save money. By my Girl Math, that saved money translates to "free" Mickey Ice Cream Bars and magical souvenirs.  Woo hooo!

I hope this helps, Cindy. Please visit me again at planDisney if I can help sprinkle any pixie-dust on that wonderful Fall vacation you'll be planning!

    Have a magical day,
    Tami
