If I book a state room on deck 12 does my door open right into the concierge lounge? Or is there a hallway and dividing wall?

Hi there, Brenda! Welcome to planDisney!

If there’s one thing that can make a perfect Disney cruise even more perfect, it’s sailing as a  Concierge Guest! It takes Disney Cruise Line’s immense level of dedication and personalized service to the next level, as the personalized care starts even before you sail! Once on board, one of my favorite parts about sailing as a Concierge Guest is having access to the Concierge Lounge. I would be happy to share where the Concierge Lounge is in relation to Guest staterooms, to help with your stateroom selection.

Based on your arrival date, I am deducing that you will be sailing on board the Disney Dream or Disney Fantasy, and will be referencing the Concierge Lounge in relation to the staterooms on those two ships. Luckily, the Concierge Lounge is located right next to the Guest staterooms on both ships, making it a super easy walk over!

The Concierge Lounge on board your Disney cruise will be your one-stop for a great place to relax, get yummy snacks and beverages, escape to an outdoor retreat, and my favorite activity as an avid coffee drinker: grab tons of different coffee drinks, all complimentary!

The Concierge Lounge on both the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy is located on Deck 12. There is a separate door to enter the Concierge Lounge, as well as a hallway connecting it to the staterooms nearby. There are Concierge Staterooms on Deck 12 in the hallways on either side of it, as well as some Concierge Staterooms available on Decks 10 and 11. No matter which stateroom you choose, you will have to walk over to the Concierge Lounge, as it is a separate room, disconnected from any Guest staterooms.

My tip for choosing a stateroom is to look at the Deck Plans for both the Disney Fantasy and the Disney Dream. This helps me see the proximity of the stateroom in relation to the areas I plan to be in the most, as well as the walking distance between them. If you’d like a short walk to the Concierge Lounge, you can find staterooms directly nearby on Deck 12. If you’d like further distance between your stateroom and the Concierge Lounge, but walking distance to the Pool Deck and/or Senses Spa & Salon, I suggest choosing a Concierge Stateroom on Deck 11. If you’d like a quieter spot, away from any entertainment and Guest areas, I suggest choosing a Concierge stateroom on Deck 10, which is still close to the Midship stairs and elevators, offering you easy walking and elevator access to the Pool Deck on Deck 11 and the Concierge Lounge on Deck 12.

Brenda, I hope I was able to offer guidance. I wish you the most memorable moments on board your cruise! Please sail back to planDisney if you have any more questions!
